Energy sector representation enhanced as Cenovus joins WESTAC

Vancouver, BC—July 21, 2023 –The Western Transportation Advisory Council (WESTAC) is pleased to welcome Canadian-based integrated energy company Cenovus Energy to the Council. Cenovus’s operations involve activities across the full value chain to develop, transport, produce, upgrade, refine and market crude oil and natural gas in Canada and internationally, moving product by rail, pipeline, truck, ship or through its extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.

The Official Representative will be Doug Atkins, Vice President, Business Development. The Alternates will be Mike Plettell, Director, Rail, Truck and Marine Business Development and Keegan Loxam, Senior Specialist Marine Business Development.
