Victoria, BC—Newly re-elected Premier David Eby announced his cabinet today. Hon. Mike Farnworth has been appointed as Minister of Transportation and Transit and House Leader.

Minister Farnworth has been an MLA for over 30 years. He was first elected as MLA for Port Coquitlam-Burke Mountain in 1991 and most recently re-elected in 2024 for the riding of Port Coquitlam.

WESTAC thanks Hon. Rob Fleming for his support of WESTAC over the last four years. We look forward to continuing our work with Minister Farnworth and the BC Ministry of Transportation.
